Friday, March 9th, 2012 and Saturday, March 10th, 2012 were two really good days for me. Not only for the We Wed Bridal Show that I was a part of. But also I was involved with two separate proposals. One on each day. I will talk about the one on Saturday in the next post.
So it all started when I was contacted by my friend and owner of the newest and hottest patisserie & cafe in town, Butter Avenue. He told me that one of his clients was looking for a photographer to document his marriage proposal, and he naturally thought of me. I contacted Roc and met up with him twice before the date he was planning on proposing. We finalized on the location, and figured out the exact spot where he was to park his car and propose.
Even though I had to leave my booth for two hours, but it was well worth it.
The proposal was magical. Serious! Literally after she said yes, it started snowing.

Special thanks to Kevin and Lisa for manning my booth while I was away for two hours to shoot this; Ron for braving the cold and second shooting with me; and Calvin for recommending me to Roc. I have the most awesomest friends!!
Forgive me guys. I know I am late in my blogging. But I have a good excuse. No wait, actually, I have two really good excuses. 1. I bought a place with Kevin and we are moving in at the end of March. 2. The We Wed Bridal Show that’s happening this weekend. Yup I have a booth there!! Come drop by and say hi!!
Now, about Tuncay and Isa’s wedding. It was a very sunny and hot summers day, and the heat that was emitting from the bride and the groom was even hotter than the sun.
They sneaked (because some of their relatives did not approve of it) into this room for a “first look” prior to the wedding ceremony. I just absolutely love this set of photos. Tuncay and Isa were just so comfortable in front of our cameras that they still acting silly. Which I loooooooved!!

It’s no surprise when I found out that Isa used to model.

The following set of photos just made me laugh out loud!!

I have a problem. I have wayyyyy too much stuff in my purse. At least that’s what Kevin says everytime I complain about shoulder or back pains, and he had to hold my purse for me for a bit….. :p Just out of curiosity and for the purpose of blogging, I weighted my purse and the result is not so bad. ONLY 5.5lbs.
“But I need everything in my purse!!!” I defend myself and my purse. “Yes! Even the pack of Monopoly Deal card game… You never know when you might be stuck somewhere and need something to do to kill time!”

This post is special. It is special because I was not Gloria and Collin’s wedding photographer, but the Make up and Hair artist with a good camera and lenses.
I’ve known Gloria for a while now, even though we never knew each other well. I met her through my good friend Ron, and that is why he recommended me when he found out Gloria was looking for a MUAH for her City Hall Wedding.

I’m going to end the post with the following photo. Don’t you just hate it when you are ready to take a beautifully framed photo, and then someone steps in right infront of your camera to take the exact same shot? We photographers call them Uncle Bobs. In this case, it is called Uncle Kevin. :p Good thing he was the hired photographer for Gloria and Colin’s wedding. (wait.. I guess that makes ME the uncle Bob. Hmm.. Hope I didn’t get in any of his shots!! :p)

Will you be my Valentine? I’ll give you cookies!!

All packed up and read to go!

Happy Valentines! <3
Yes, I know I’m a bit behind with my wedding blogs. I’m trying guys!!!! But I’ve just been so busy lately. What with a wedding show coming up next month to prepare for and client meetings and Chinese New Year. I hardly even have time to sleep my usual hours!! 10 hours of sleep is not enough people!! :p
I was invited by Kevin to assist him in documenting Neelofur and Faisal’s wedding days (yes, days) last summer and I was delighted! Not only were Neelofur and Faisal naturals in front of our cameras, their wedding was an explosion of colour with tons of entertainment and non stop dancing. It was a photographer’s dream!
