The first time i had Natto was when i was still working at starbucks.. we bought it pre-packaged and frozen at a korean supermarket.

Wasn’t really sure how to eat it.. so we simply opened the package after it thawed and just ate it like that..

initial thought: interesting…..

second bite: disgusting!!

that was 3 years ago.

recently i went to my japanese class gathering at Nami and someone mentioned that they’ve never had natto before..

it was on the menu, so we ordered.

*daja vu*

initial thought: yup, still disgusting

second bite: ohhh, interesting!

third bite (with rice): okay it’s not that bad!

i think the rice, egg, green onions and seaweed made it taste a little better.
